Health Insurance

We offer regular full-time team members two comprehensive medical plan options through Blue Cross Blue Shield:

  •   Blue Care Elect Preferred PPO 90/70 PPO plan (90% paid in-network; 70% paid out-of network)
  •   Blue Cross Blue Shield Value Plan ($1,500 deductible per member which is capped at $3,000 per family for in-network services)

Telehealth

Through BCBS-MA, team members have access to real-time online video visits with a health provider using a smartphone, tablet or computer for short duration Medical and Behavioral Health visits. Doctors can review your medical and behavioral health history, answer questions, and diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication.

Pharmacy Benefits

Cumberland Farms offers a comprehensive pharmacy program through CVS/caremark, for those team members enrolled in one of the health plan options. The comprehensive Rx coverage includes a three tier formulary benefit, and also includes a robust preventative care program.  If you take a maintenance medication that is on the Value Drug list and complete the Health Risk Assessment, you pay $0 for these drugs. Mail order service is included.

CVS Minute Clinic

Team members can use their CVS/caremark pharmacy card to visit CVS Minute Clinics for minor illnesses/medical conditions. CVS Minute Clinics offer convenient, quality, affordable health care. They are open every day, including evenings and no appointments are necessary. Team members will pay a flat copay at CVS Minute Clinics, depending on their insurance plan ($5 per visit for 90/70 PPO Plan and $10 per visit for the Value PPO Plan).

Dental Insurance

Dental Blue, our Blue Cross Blue Shield dental plan, provides preventative, basic, and major restorative care with a $1,500 annual benefit and orthodontia coverage for members up to age 19.

Vision

EyeMed Vision Care provides benefits for eye exams, glasses and contacts at a low monthly premium. 

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

Health Care Reimbursement Account

The Health Care FSA allows team members to pay for certain health care expenses with pre-tax money. Such expenses for team members and their dependents include deductibles, coinsurance, co-pays, out-of-pocket dental, vision expenses and more. 

Dependent Care Assistance Account

The Dependent Care FSA allows team members to pay for certain dependent care expenses with pre-tax money. Eligible expenses include qualified dependent or elder care services for the purposes of working or attending school full-time. 

Life Insurance

Basic Life Insurance & Accidental Death/Dismemberment (AD&D)

The Company provides Basic Life & AD&D Insurance at no cost to eligible full and part time team members. Coverage amounts and waiting periods vary based on job classification.

Optional Life Insurance and Voluntary Accidental Death/Dismemberment (AD&D)

Eligible full-time team members may purchase Optional Life Insurance and Voluntary AD&D Insurance up to three times their annual basic salary.

Disability 

Cumberland Farms offers group disability coverage to eligible full-time team members. Coverage types and waiting periods vary based on job classification.

401 (k) Retirement Plan 

Team Members of Cumberland Farms, Inc. with six months of service are eligible to enroll in the Cumberland Farms, Inc. Employee Savings Plan on the first day of the month following eligibility. The Plan provides an easy and convenient way to set money aside for retirement on a pre-tax or Roth basis and provides a number of advantages over a traditional savings plan.

Cumberland Farms, Inc. helps your contributions grow through a generous employer match of 50% of each dollar you contribute on the first 6% of pay that you defer to your Plan account. Company matching contributions are vested using a 5 year graded schedule. 

Wellness Incentive 

Cumberland Farms, Inc. offers a comprehensive, incentive based wellness program designed to improve overall well-being. Team members covered under the Cumberland Farms, Inc. health insurance plans who complete the required activities may be eligible for a $500 credit towards their annual medical premium.

Team members receive a personalized Team Member Value Card that can be used at any of our Cumberland Farms locations! This card allows team members to enjoy a 15% discount on our amazing Cumberland Farms brand products and a 10% discount on select national brand products.  The discount is also valid on promotional items featured in our stores.

HOPE Fund

The HOPE Fund is an emergency financial resource which is funded by voluntary donations from team members, and matching Company contributions. The HOPE Fund is designed to enable team members to apply for financial assistance due to unforeseen catastrophic hardship or financial loss.

Team members who help fuel our talent pool by referring a candidate could be eligible to receive a referral bonus of $500.
